2. About the Autoposting Feature
Autoposting allows users to:
- Log into WhatsApp using a web interface we provide.
- Select one or more WhatsApp group chats to send text messages and/or images.
- Automatically post messages to designated groups at the user’s instruction.
2.1 Data We Collect
- WhatsApp Phone Number: Collected to authenticate your login sessions via our interface.
- Message Content: Text and images you create and send using Autoposting, along with the timestamp of when the messages are sent.
- Session Data: Temporary session tokens, cookies, or other authentication credentials needed to keep you logged in.
2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect
- Personal Chats: We do not access, read, or store any of your private WhatsApp messages beyond the scope of Autoposting.
- Group Chat History: We do not retrieve or store historical messages in your WhatsApp groups, only the messages you send via Autoposting.
- Contact Lists: We do not access your WhatsApp contacts, nor do we store information about group participants unless it is inherently necessary (e.g., group IDs for sending messages).
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Authentication & Session Maintenance
- Your WhatsApp phone number is used to verify and maintain your WhatsApp login session.
- Message Delivery
- We temporarily process your selected text/images to deliver them to your chosen WhatsApp groups.
- Security & Compliance
- We may store minimal logs (such as timestamps) to troubleshoot issues, prevent fraud, or comply with legal requirements.
- Service Improvement
- We may use aggregated or anonymized data to improve the performance and reliability of the Autoposting feature. We do not use specific message content for marketing or promotional activities without your explicit consent.
4. Data Retention
- WhatsApp Phone Number: Stored only for the duration of your authenticated session or until you log out.
- Message Content & Timestamps: Temporarily retained for delivery and system logs. We may keep these logs for a limited time to resolve errors or fulfill legal obligations.
- We do not maintain long-term archives of your message content unless legally required.
5. Sharing with Third Parties
- No Sale or Rental: We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by authorities.
- Protecting Rights & Safety: We may share data to protect TimeDealer’s rights, safety, or property, as well as that of users or the public, in accordance with applicable laws.
6. Data Security
We employ appropriate technical and organizational safeguards (e.g., encryption, access controls) to protect your information against unauthorized access, misuse, or loss. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We recommend that you:
- Keep your WhatsApp verification code confidential.
- Log out when you finish using Autoposting, especially on public or shared devices.
